IVF & PCOS · Rove Training

Prepare for retrieval.
With a plan.

Rove’s established coaching protocols bring nutrition, gentle movement and recovery habits into the weeks before egg retrieval, aligned with your fertility clinic.

Plan your starting point
A quiet moment by the window, with a mug and an open notebook.

A focused jump-start

6–12weeks

Build your preparation routine.

A flexible coaching window. Your fertility clinic sets the treatment and retrieval schedule.

The preparation process

Support that changes
with your phase.

We begin with your current routine, health context and clinic guidance. The plan becomes gentler as treatment calls for it.

01 / START HERE

Set the foundation

Understand your baseline.

Review meals, movement, sleep and the support you need. Agree on practical goals and bring proposed nutrition or activity changes to your clinical team.

02 / BEFORE STIMULATION

Build consistency

Make the routine workable.

Establish regular meals, a suitable nutrition phase and manageable movement. Adjust the coaching to your energy, symptoms and treatment timeline.

03 / STIMULATION & RECOVERY

Follow your care plan

Ease the physical load.

Shift to clinic-cleared gentle activity. Rest and nutrition follow your procedure instructions, with a return to training only when your clinic clears it.

Nutrition, tailored

Choose the approach.
Keep the nourishment.

Rove’s nutrition phases are selected around your needs and reviewed as those needs change. Adequate nourishment stays central.

An optional phase

Rove keto nutrition.

For selected clients, a ketogenic approach may be considered with approval from the treating clinician. We review health history, medications, preferences and treatment timing before making it part of the coaching plan.

Keto is not a requirement for IVF preparation, and is not established as the best diet for PCOS or IVF outcomes.

A flexible foundation

Balanced nutrition.

A regular meal structure with protein, varied whole foods and carbohydrate intake suited to your needs. This can be the starting point or a transition as activity and treatment change.

Clinic or dietitian recommendations guide any therapeutic dietary changes.

Living with PCOS

Support for metabolic health.
Room for individual needs.

PCOS can shape the support you need around food, movement and fertility care. Sustainable lifestyle habits can help metabolic health, with benefits even without weight loss. No single diet is recommended as superior for everyone with PCOS.

Gentle protocols

Movement that respects
the moment.

Before treatment, training is scaled to your starting point and clinical guidance. During ovarian stimulation, enlarged ovaries mean activity often needs to be gentler; your clinic may recommend walking and restrict strenuous or twisting movements.

We adapt sessions to those instructions and your comfort. Around retrieval, your clinic’s rest, activity and return-to-exercise guidance takes priority.

These are lifestyle coaching protocols. Your fertility team manages medical care and retrieval decisions.

Before we begin

A few clear answers.

Do I need the full 6–12 weeks?

No. This is a planning window for coaching, not a condition of treatment or a proven timeline for changing egg quality. We work with the time you have. Do not delay fertility treatment to complete the program; timing belongs with your clinic.

Is keto required if I have PCOS?

No. Nutrition is individualized. A balanced approach may be the better fit, and a ketogenic phase is considered only with clinical approval. International PCOS guidance does not identify one diet composition as superior.

Can this improve my IVF results?

The aim is to support everyday habits and preparation, not to promise more eggs, improved egg quality or pregnancy. Pre-treatment weight-loss studies have not established an improvement in live-birth rates. Your clinical team can discuss the factors relevant to your circumstances.

How does Rove work alongside my clinic?

We ask you to share relevant nutrition and activity instructions, then adapt your coaching around them. Medication, supplements, procedures and treatment decisions remain with your qualified healthcare professionals.
